Brewing Instructions

  1. Begin with cold, fresh water.
  2. Pre-heat your teapot, as cooling the water can result in a weaker brew.
  3. Use approximately 4g of tea for every 8oz of water, or 1/2 oz of tea leaves per quart.
  4. Steep the tea for 4-5 minutes, or longer for a stronger brew.
  5. For herbal teas and black teas, use water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit (or a rolling boil).
  6. Pour the boiling water over your tea.
  7. Avoid boiling botanicals with your water.
  8. You can steep 2-3 times
